  • Alternating notes / alternating MIDI channels

How do I make a series of alternating notes or / and alternating MIDI channels?

    1) I build a chord, but dont want it played as a chord, but alternate (sequential or non-sequential) between the designated notes?

    2) How do I let the same note repeat, but over alternating MIDI channels?

    Hi,

There is no support for timed events.
Maybe you should try a arpeggiator plugin.
What MIDI sequencer are you using?

      Sorry, I got it.

What you can do is create another preset for another set of chords or MIDI channels.
When you create a preset it copies the current configuration in the new preset, then you can change the note values to other ones.

If you want the preset to change when you hit a note, duplicate the note trigger message, and assign a Preset change event. You could use the Preset / Next Preset event to cycle through all presets.

      Best,
      Cam

I dont quite understand, as I am totally new to OSCulator, but I will try it and see if I can figure it out. This is helpful to figuring it out.
