  • Lego NXT as controller

We are looking at the possibilities of using a Lego NXT brick as an input device for MIDI control. I have seen applications where the NXT drives robotics from MIDI, but we want to go the other way: use the sensor inputs on the brick and send the data over Bluetooth to a Mac, where it can be processed and used by a software synth like Reason. Has anyone done this? Is there an extension/version of OSCulator that the NXT can talk to?
    Thanks,
    Paul

    Hello Paul,

OSCulator does not support NXT, but it would be interesting to add it in the future.
In the meantime, I would suggest you find a solution to convert the signal of the NXT in OSC, so you can send it to OSCulator.
By quickly searching "lego nxt osc" on google, I've found a result, hopefully might be helpful.
