    I'm wondering if there is a basic setup and use tutorial for using a wacom with logic.
    Does Osculator only send midi data to Logic when osculator is in the foreground and the caps lock key engaged? I'm obviously missing how this works. Any help appreciated.

    When engaged, the Wacom tablet will work even if OSCulator is in the background.
    You can use the Wacom as any other device, what you need to do is to assign MIDI events that you will use in Logic.
    Logic is a bit more difficult than Live for example when it comes to assigning MIDI events to parameters.
    In order to map a MIDI Control Change (CC) event to a parameter in a plugin or instrument, you need to first touch the parameter you want to map, then go in learn mode (Command-L), and the Controller Assignments window will appear.
    In this window, change the Format to "Unsigned" and Mode to "Direct" as shown in this picture:
