  • Use multiple Wiimote devices with OSCulator

    hello camille, and everyone,

I'm taking the opportunity of this thread to ask the following : the question might be dumb but, can we use several different devices at the same time with osculator ? for exemple, wiimote-motion plus AND balance board ? I'd like to use both at the same time to get a deeper gestural control of Max and Live

    thanx !

    Hi Leo,

Yes. In the case you described, you can do everything in a single OSCulator document, but in some cases, it is recommended to use multiple documents. In the forum, do a search for "multiple devices" and you should have useful results.

    Best,

      thank you Camille !

sorry I did not ask the question in the right place in the first time !
I usually do a lot of searches before asking, but time is running out so much these days, I did it quick an dirty !
I indeed got the search results I needed now !

        Hi
I need to communicate with 3 Wiimotes at the same time in a unity project.
i did find sample code allowing me to connect to a single Wiimote.
does anyone know of sample code for unity allowing connection to multiple remotes??

        Thanks in advance
        Elan

          Hi Elan,

You contacted me via a private message and mentionned this URL: http://itu.dk/people/jzso/OSCuMote/oscumote.html

I may be missing something but it seems the author of this library says it is designed to work with multiple Wiimotes. Have you tried the code?

          Cheers,
          Cam
