  • Multiple event types

    Hello,

    I wanted to make a drum on OSCulator with Ableton Live.
    I have set the event types:
    pitch = MIDI Note D3
    accel = MIDI CC 1

    But the problem here is that sometimes it doesn't register pitch, so there is no sound.
    My question is: can I set the event types of accel to MIDI Note and MIDI CC?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi circuitboard,

    If you assign an event to the pitch attitude angle of the Wiimote, the note will be played when the Wiimote is turned in the upper direction. If you want to trigger a note when you shake the remote, assign a MIDI Note event to 'accel'.

    You can then set the sensitivity to your taste by adjusting the acceleration smoothing parameter (in the Wiimote drawer) and optionally the Input Min and Input Max parameters in the Scalings Page (Command-F).

    If you also need to continuously send the acceleration value as a MIDI Control Change, you can simply duplicate 'accel' by selecting the message, and choose Edit->Duplicate (or Command-D). Then assign the MIDI CC event you need.

    Best Regards,
    Camille
