  • Importing Edited Touchosc document into Osculator

    Dear Forum,

I'm new to Osculator and Touchosc and have a quick question.

I've just created a new layout in Touchosc and successfully transferred that to my iPod Touch G4.
How do I create a version of this document which I can open in Osculator and which will set up
the bridge between my iPod and Mac?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Visionhead,

What would you like to use TouchOSC with?

The first you want to do is to launch OSCulator on your Mac and connect TouchOSC to OSCulator. (see TouchOSC documentation to know how to configure the Network Settings : http://hexler.net/docs/touchosc-conf...onnections-osc).

After you have done this configuration step, touch the controls in TouchOSC and they will register in OSCulator. From there you can select from various events you want to perform on your Mac. For example, sending a MIDI control change, or pressing a key combo on the keyboard.

There is a lot of valuable information to understand how all of this works in the OSCulator User's Manual : http://dl.osculator.net/doc/OSCulator+2.11+Manual.pdf

    Best,

      Hi there Cam,
thanks first of all for your quick reply.

I did all the steps you mentioned (touching the controls in TouchOSC etc) and it worked perfectly!

      Thanks again.

      Best wishes.
