  • Wiimote is outputting incorrect keys

I started using OSCulator today and it was working great. Unfortunately, within a couple of hours Wii remote plus started to have jumble key code commands. . For example, I have OSCulator set up so that the keys are as follows: Left=1, down=2, right=3, up=4. But within a couple of hours, my Wii remote plus started to output the keys as follows: Left=s, down=d, right=f, up=h. I can't figure it out for the life of me. Can anyone help? I am using a macbook air.

Update: I changed all of the key codes to key combos and it seems to be working now.

    Hi Jdoe,

Have you by any chance changed the keyboard layout of your Mac?
I can't think of another reason why the key mapping would change.

    Best,
    Cam

NO, I have not changed the keyboard layout. It is really strange. But I have had nothing but problems with trying to get the wii remote plus and this macbook air i7 os X 10.9.2. I have tried over 5 emulators and had nothing but issues. Only Wjoy ended up working but it is subpar in comparison to OSCulator app.
