  • Note Transpose with TouchOSC

    Hyas Folks

Trying to design a (piano-) keyboard for my iPad with TouchOSC.

A useful feature would be to have a transpose switch to transpose the keys on the iPad screen one octave higher or maybe also down.

Any idea how I should do this ?

    Thx a lot

    Hi Fischerman,

An easy way to do this is to use Presets.

First assign a Preset Change event to your shifting buttons, and assign MIDI Notes to the button of your keyboard. Then, create a new Preset and update the note events to a different tonality.

Note that when a new Preset is created, the current configuration is copied, so it may look a bit confusing because nothing really changes visually. For more information on presets, please take a look at the online manual :

      Wooow,

First, I'm impressed how fast you answer,

Second ; works great with the presets, I got now a cool keyboard for Reason 4.

All in all OSCulator is a great software, easy, stable and a lot of cool features.

I'm more then happy that I bought the license yesterday :-)
