Can't receive any events from Space Navigator / Space Mouse

Aaaaahhh stop the press!

A clean install of the current non-beta driver AND rebooting actually help in my case. So consider this problem solved until further notice. The SpaceNavigator seems to be stuck every now and then and needs USB disconnects or reboots. So my observation might have been just related to that. Osculator gets events now, so I shut up and will continue testing.
