  • Need help with Midi-Keyboard

    Hi guys,
I'm really new with OSCulator and want to use it to control Blackmagic ATEM Software (Previews, Macros, ...) with my AKAI MPX8. I watched John Barkers Video about it ("Here to Record"), but unfortunately, OSCulator only recognizes one single midi-note for all 8 pads on the AKAI. In the Incoming Monitor Window, I can see that there are different Notes incoming (C1, C#1, D1, ...), but they all go to Channel 10 and I can't change that.. I hope that somebody can help me! Best Regards from Germany, Marco

    Hi Marco,

OSCulator displays MIDI notes as a single OSC message with 3 arguments : pitch, velocity, trigger (on/off).
Just select the first argument (pitch), and choose Edit -> Demux. Then send notes again : OSCulator will reveal received notes individually.

    Best,
    Cam
