  • No MIDI output unless "Repeat note as long as it is active" option is checked

    Hello,

I am on macOS 12.0.1 (Monterey) and I have an issue when generating MIDI notes events. The only way I am able to get any MIDI output from OSCulator is by checking the "Repeat note as long as it is active" option in the MIDI section of the preferences. As soon as I uncheck this box, I no longer get MIDI output.

I was able to validate this behaviour with MIDI Monitor which is MIDI monitoring tool. Maybe I'm missing something but it does seem like a bug.

    Did anybody else experience that?

    Thank you.

    Jean-Philippe

      Hi Jean-Philippe,

I just tested under Monterey the MIDI CC, MIDI Note, and MIDI Note w/ Params events.
      They all work as expected.

Maybe the input you feed to the event is not triggering properly?

      Best,
      Camille
