  • OSC float value range

Hi everyone, in OSCulator the display of floating point values seems to range from 0.0 to 1.0, which makes sense to me. However, in my DAW (Bitwig, so granted not native OSC support), this seems to be interpreted as zero and one, with controls therefore moving only a tiny amount away from zero. I was expecting that 0.0 to 1.0 would represent the full range of the control. I don't know if this is a limitation of the DAW I'm using, or if OSC should be able to support floating point values greater than one. I've read various protocol documents and haven't been able to get a clear answer on this. Thanks in advance

If I change the range of what's being sent to 0-127, I am indeed able to control the full range of motion of the control in Bitwig. However I feel this is perhaps not normal.
