  • No MIDI input in OSCulator but I can see it in MIDI Monitor

I had a connection working until I restarted my mac. Here is my setup:
Propresenter MIDI connection > OSCulator (converts MIDI to OSC) > Companion

I use a program named "MIDI Monitor" to spy on my MIDI connections. I've verified that Propresenter is sending a MIDI signal out which I can see in MIDI Monitor. I've selected the same MIDI option in OSCulator that I have in Propresenter but for some reason I don't see any MIDI input in the OSCulator monitor. It was working until I restarted my computer. What am I doing wrong?

    Hello Andrew,

Just to clarify, did you say that you got your setup working, but after a restart it was no longer working?

Otherwise, I remember there is a bug enumerating hardware MIDI interfaces. That means that if the order or the count of the MIDI interfaces changed between two restart, OSCulator may fail to detect a MIDI interface.

Here is a link to the latest beta build, would you please be so kind to check if that helps?

    Best,
    Camille
