    hi there,

i used osculator for the first time and have the following problem:
i designd a layout for my ipod with OSC editor and generated a osculator file
and it works nearly perfect, but...
two buttons from my layout use the same midi cc slot in that file.
how can i gererate a new slot with new cc value for the 2. button??

    Hi Resonator,

What you can do is give a different OSC address to those two buttons.
In the TouchOSC Editor, select a button to modify, in the left column uncheck the "OSC: auto" checkbox and change the OSC address.
Upload the new layout to your iPod and click on that updated button, a new message will register in OSCulator. You can then map this message to another MIDI event.

    Best,
    Cam

      Fader jump

thx - it works now, but have an other problem:
i created 2 similar faders in OSC editor
to control Track 1 and 2 volume in ableton live
Fader for track 1 works perfect
but the other fader always jumps back
      to start after moving???

Seems like the back-mapping is incoherent.
I would suggest you delete the messages starting with /midi and let OSCulator re-create them.

            Sorry, but I don't understand.
Please send you layout and oscd file to camille at osculator dot net, and I'll have a look.
