OSCulator not playing nice with 10.11pb
Heya Camille - that time of year again, when some OSCulator diehards install a new still in beta OS X operating system, and the "OSCulator quit unexpectedly." dialog box appears...

Please, don't use that version unless you need to use files created under Mac OS X Tiger.
Using a beta operating system is asking for trouble, sorry for saying that but I know it's true from experience. A system booting or an application launching does not mean it reliably works. El Capitan still has a lot of bugs...

How to use OSCulator on OS X 10.11 El Capitan
Hi Clik,
Here is a workaround I found on how to use OSCulator on 10.11:
- Locate OSCulator.app in your /Application/OSCulator ƒ folder,
- Choose File -> Get Info (or press Command-I) to display the File Info panel,
- Check Open in 32-bit mode.
Please let me know if that works for you.
I hope this will be a temporary solution until I find a more definitive fix.
Best,
Cam

I am trying it out today, running on 10.11.2, on a new Macbook Pro.
I just had it hang when I turned on the MIDI output.
I made the change to 32 bit mode, and did the same thing, and it worked.
Since Steve is gone, discipline at Apple is apparently not what it used to be. The old saying "it just works" no longer applies.
So far Osculator looks like a great program.
