Thread: MIDI keys and Wii

  1. #1

Using Osculator with GHWT drums has been a blast. Really working great.

    This experience made me think...

Is it possible to connect a midi keyboard (mine is M-audio) to a Wii remote and make it wireless? Will the remote manage all the data or it has limitations?

I hope your anwers...... there's nothing wrong with dream a little...

    Hi Charlie,

I think there are better solutions to transport MIDI streams over the air.

For example, you have this M-Audio product. There are also more professional devices.

Another option if you have two Macs is to use OSCulator's Raw MIDI mode (found in the Preferences window). On one Mac you set it up to send MIDI data, and on the other Mac you receive MIDI data. But it would not be as robust as using a dedicated wireless transmitter.
