Dear users,
I have recently purchased a new MacBook with a i7 cpu and there are a few problems I have spotted which may draw your attention.
The first is that the version of Mac OS X shipped with this model contains a security update that breaks the automatic software update of OSCulator. I have searched every possible solution, but it seems the only way to get around is to download the latest release of the application from the website and re-install it on your computer (just replace the OSCulator ƒ folder).
Another problem that is even more troublesome is that the computer occasionally freezes under random circumstances. There is a discussion about this issue on the Apple forums. I am almost sure this is related to a software problem introduced at the last minute, and hope it will be corrected promptly.
Best,
Cam
