  • Controlling multiple Logic Pro audio/midi track parameters in real time?

    Hello

We have C++ software sending data to Osculator which then converts it to MIDI and sends to Logic Pro.

At the moment we are able to successfully control various EXS24 MIDI instruments daisy chained together in the environment playing various sounds and changing the cutoff frequency and global panning.

What we aren't able to achieve is to independently change the volume, panning and plugin settings of multiple AUDIO and MIDI tracks in real time, independent to each other (so it's not dependent on which track in Logic Pro is currently selected).

Any suggestions/solutions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Nick

    Hi Nick,

Logic MIDI control is a pain.

I am not exactly sure to fully understand your question, hence the candid question: have you tried to choose another MIDI channel? I believe you can control up to 8 track independently assigned from channel 1 to channel 8.

Another solution would be to use the OSCulator Plugin for Logic Pro.

    Best,
    Cam
