    Two possibilities:
    1. Your computer and iPad are not connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
    2. there is a problem with the discovery service (Bonjour) and you need to restart both your computer and iPad.

Could it be that I need to reinstall OSC on my Pad ?

You shouldn't need to reinstall TouchOSC. Maybe it is that you have the firewall activated on your computer. Please open the System Preferences, Security pane, and check that the firewall is disabled.

            Dear Camille
            No firewall...
The only difference from before ( where it worked like a charm ) and now is change of OSX from 10.7.4 to 10.8.2.
im honestly out of my witt ( if i had any :-) )

              Have you tried reinstalling TouchOSC?
I am pretty sure there is a network problem between your iPad and computer.
I'm sorry, but I can't think of other solutions :-/

Double check that TouchOSC's outgoing port matches Osculator (default 8000) and perhaps try using an ad-hoc network from your computer? I have also noticed that after entering in your host details in TouchOSC it seems to help if you don't close the settings page right away, but that may not always be the case.
