    Hi Jan!

If you run OSCulator on one computer at a time, you can use the same license on two computers maximum.

For example, here are a couple of valid scenarios:
    - I have a new computer, and want to transfer the license to a new one.
    - I have two computers, and want to run OSCulator on one of them at a time.

These scenarios will require a second license:
    - I have three computers, and want to run OSCulator on one of them at a time.
    - I want to use OSCulator on two computers at a time.

    Best Regards,
    Camille

      3 computers -> 2 desktops and 1 laptop.
Am trying to transfer the license from my laptop(which runs OSCulator 2) to the desktop I'm writing on now but, I'm getting a "maximum number of activations has been reached." message
(OSCulator is also installed on my other desktop, in a different city)
On the laptop, I've already used the Transfer License option.
      Stuck.
      Help.

        Hi Brian,

It occurred that your license was activated twice for the same computer.
This happens sometimes when you re-install the OS without deactivating the license.

Please try again, it should work now.

        Best,
        Cam

PS: I have added a FAQ item about this error message.

Thanks for the quick reply Camille, and yes, that's exactly what happened... I'm running OSCulator on different partitions of the same computer, with a different version of macOS installed on each.

In future, I'll try remember to have the license active on just one partition at a time.

All is again, working as it should.

            That's great.
I'd like to emphasize that if this becomes a practical problem, please don't hesitate to tell me and I will bump the license activation count. I don't want this protection system to become a problem, and I gladly consider invidivual requests.
