  • Can't open .osc3 or .oscd files at all

I cannot open .oscd or .osc3 files. I have tried all of the following:

    - Double-clicking files in the Finder
    - Using the Open... function in the File menu in OSCulator
    - Using the Open Recent function in the File menu

Doing any of the above results in OS X bring OSCulator to the front as if it's going to open a file, but no new window is created. I checked the Window menu just in case the Window is being created somewhere I can't see it, but no new Window is listed there.

I can create New .osc3 files and Save them without incident, and all other OSCulator functions seem to work.

    I am running OSX Sierra 10.12.4 (16E195) on a mid-2012 MBP.

    Hi Joel,

Would you please send your file to camille at osculator dot net so I can have a look?

    Thanks,
    Camille

You always respond so quickly... Thanks for that!

To be clear, I cannot open *any* .oscd or .osc3 files. Would you still like me to send you a few sample .oscd and .osc3 files that I could not open? Also, are there any other files I should include?

Edit: My Mac had apparently been waiting to upgrade to OS X 10.12.5. I let it upgrade. Since the upgrade, I can open any and all .oscd and .osc3 files without trouble.

Still happy to send along any files that might be useful to you.

        Hey Joel,

        You are welcome.
I understand the issue is over.

        Thanks!
        Cam
