Keystroke to midi or OSC

Hello,

I want to use Osculator to sync two keynote programs on two mac's.
It works when I use touchOSC or android like program on my smartphones. I receive on one machine and split the signal into keycombo on that machine and a midi out for the other. The syncing (next page, previous page, etc) works...

Now I'm trying to replace the smartphone by a normal presenter (usb on one machine), because my customers don't allways know how to use smartphones etc.

But, I can not find a way to " grab" the presenters "key down or up" and convert it to a midi or OSC message. Does OSC have a function like this, or does anyone know how to realise this?

How does look like the presenter device?
I could suggest you to try a Sony BDRemote, I have some experimental code for that, but I'd need you to contact me by email so we can arrange something.
