Minimize OSCulator to the menu bar

A lot of utility apps have the ability to minimize to the menu bar instead of the dock. This way, they don't appear on the program list when you Cmd-Tab to switch applications. Once I have my routings well defined, it would be nice if I could set OSCulator to launch on system startup and & run silently (invisibly) in the background. Would this be possible in a future update?
