Hi
I'm new to Osculator and am trying to get a Mackie MCU to control my new 1248. To avoid the pain of HUI i've put the controller into Apple Logic mode and i'm reading fader values and have managed to send them on to the 1248.
The 1248 has a linear fader protocol with values from 0 to 4. The value range 0 to 1 is the range from off to 0db on the motu fader. The range from 1 - 4 covers 0db to +12 db. I've created two mappings to try and smooth this out, but the slightest nudge at the bottom of the fader results in quite a big db jump on the motu.
Is there anyway to scale as a log curve rather than linear?
Thanks
