Embedding Midi?

Hi!

Is it possible to embed midi to the OSCulator files?
What i want to do:
I want to use OSCulator to do the amazing things that are possible with OSC but not with midi (like launching apple scripts, performing keystrokes etc.).
For example when i push a button on my midi controller i want a program to be launched …

Hi Ionas,

OSCulator is able to receive MIDI just as it receives OSC.
Have you tried to send MIDI to it?

If you are using another program to send MIDI you have to configure it to send MIDI to the "OSCulator In" MIDI port.
If you are using a physical MIDI interface, the best is to open OSCulator's Parameters Window, then go the I/O tab and select the MIDI port in the selected MIDI inputs.

You will then see your MIDI as OSC messages in the list.
