  • trashing virtual HID devices?

Is there a way to get rid of the virtual HID devices OSCulator HID1 and 2? I tried trashing the program but those virtual devices still persisted.

Go in the application Preferences, "Input Devices" tab, and uncheck the "Enable Perfect Pairing Extension" checkbox.

Great, thanks so much. I was having conflicts with another application.

Could you please tell me what application was victim of the conflicts?

I'd be happy to reproduce the problem, if there's anything I can do about it.

        Best,

IT was nothing you could do anything about -- it was a problem with a ChucK program that the Princeton Laptop Orchestra is using. All of the HID examples in ChucK select devices by number, not by name. So it can be a matter of trial and error to get the right device. Not sure if one can open HID devices by name rather than number in ChucK, I'm going to look into it.

          Thanks for the help!
