I'm wondering if this thread is still alive. I recently bought some of the TR remotes and can't seem to get them to work in OSCulator. It does seem like it's more of an OSX issue, in that my other two non TR remotes pair up nicely in the Bluetooth Assistant but this one does not. Does anyone have any sort of help or advice to get this to work?
OSCulator v. 2.12.7
OSX v. 10.7.5
Thanks!

Hi aintmichael,
Your Wiimotes TR should connect just fine using OSCulator 2.12.7.
Be sure to checkout this thread: http://www.osculator.net/forum/threa...OSCulator-2-12
TDLR;
Basically, how Wiimotes connect changed. You must first pair them with OSCulator, then connect them by pressing any button on the remote. Pressing buttons 1 & 2 won't work, this is no longer the way to do, even with non-TR Wiimotes (once they have been paired with OSCulator).
PS: I am surprised that your Wiimotes do accept pairing with Bluetooth Assistant. It is not possible technically, so I think that what you see is the result of a false-positive pairing result. Moreover, versions previous to OSCulator 2.12 did not require pairing whereas version 2.12 requires pairing, but this is done in the app because the Wiimotes need a special procedure that the Bluetooth Assistant doesn't know about.
Cheers!

Totally rad, it works now. I guess I was getting confused by how my first 2 (non TR) wiimotes connected. They show up in Bluetooth Assistant and worked fine, but I must have connected through OSCulator originally and not the other way around. I now how six wiimotes running through my Mac and sending data to PC on my network, couldn't have gotten this setup to work without OSCulator. Thanks for a great piece of software.
